Lauren Roth is currently a Junior in high school at Idaho Fine Arts Academy who has always loved creating art. After finding herself with much more free time this past year, she devoted much more time to create. She also has an interest in the issue of climate change and the preservation of the environment.

Artist Statement: This piece signifies the truth that we have no influence on when change comes, we only have the ability to control how we react. We can either crumble under the pressure of change or we can grow stronger from it. If we grow stronger through change, we can come out with more knowledge and resilience that will help us become better people who can help others continue to grow.
